Christopher
Knight
(Sheriff
Boozer, Co-Director, Co-Producer, Co-Writer)
Blame
HIM for all of this!! Chris conceived of the idea
for Forcery in the late summer of 2001
and wrote the first five pages of the initial
draft on the night of September 10th, 2001 (about
ten hours before the 9/11 attacks). Since then
he's gotten married, moved three times, worked
as a newspaper reporter and teacher, and learned
the arcane secrets of the mystical art of deep-frying
turkey. But through it all he's had Forcery
rolling around his gray matter with no way out
except to MAKE the bloody thing! A native of North
Carolina, Chris is an Eagle Scout and received
a degree in History from what is now Elon
University. Since then he has been a reporter
at two newspapers (during his time at one of which
he got to meet Bill Cosby and Israeli war hero
Gershon Salomon), taught website design to middle-school
students, sold furniture and toys, been a freelance
writer and computer technician, and many other
things. He has been a contributing writer to several
publications and op-ed websites including the
Washington
Dispatch. He is also planning to soon pursue
his Masters degree and eventually a earn Ph.D
in the field of History. But he has long dreamed
of trying his hand at filmmaking and now with
Forcery that dream has now become a reality...
although he certainly hopes that this won't be
the LAST time he gets to work with other people
in putting a movie together. He and Ed have high
hopes for KWerky Productions and with the release
of Forcery, those hopes now have a launching
pad!
